It seems that the minute I sit at the computer they suddenly want to be on it too! Any ideas?

I don't really have such a problem now because my oldest daughter (9 y.o.) usually keeps her brother busy. She is a big girl already, so I try assigning her little projects, for example doing the dishes. When she was smaller it was like a game for her. While doing the dishes she would often ask me: "Mom, am I a good helper?" I would always encourage her in helping me at home, and this worked for me well.
